- Purpose of Role
We currently have a vacancy at our Head Office for a Holiday Sales Consultant to join our Specialist Sales team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the Haven Holidays magic to our Group customers within our telesales operation. This will be done through the professional handling of new and existing customers and delivering excellent customer service whilst achieving maximum sales revenue.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Deliver sales in line with the overall Groups annual budget. Utilising an excellent telephone manner, fulfil the sales process in accordance with the guidelines laid down by the Holidays Team. Make recommendations on destination, selection of accommodation and liaise with the commercial & Park teams to complete negotiation on the price/payment terms.
2. Maintenance and development of key customer relationships. Provide quality customer service, ensuring that customers are provided with all relevant information, exceptional service, and that requirements are fulfilled and expectations are exceeded.
3. Creating and maintaining new business through outbounding calls; effectively managing these sales leads to obtain customer commitment.
4. To represent the Specialist Sales Team at Park visits, events and exhibitions as required.
5. To demonstrate a thorough knowledge of all aspects of the department operation and knowledge of the Haven Holidays product.
6. Be fully conversant with the Bourne Leisure Mission Statement and values and seek to fulfil them in their daily work.
- Requirements
The ideal candidate will:
1. Have previous experience working in a sales role, preferably within the Travel/Leisure industry.
2. Be a comitted team player with the ability to problem solve, prioritise and multi-task.
3. Be highly organised with meticulous attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills.
4. Have experience of using Microsoft Office applications and leisure based reservation systems preferred.
5. Have an outgoing and enthusiastic personality with a desire to have fun.
